This special recording is a compilation of His Holiness' conversations and symposiums during his visits to Hawaii (1994); intermixed with recordings of rare Tibetan folk music; Hawaiian chants by kumu hula, John Lake; and an introduction by the late Rev. Abraham Akaka. All proceeds benefit Hawaii's Sakyadhita organization of Tibetan nuns.


Authentic recipes by some of Hawaii's best fire fighter - chefs. Recipes are simple and local foods such as fresh ahi can be substituted with mainland ingredients. A companion one hour video special also available for purchase. Part of proceeds benefits Hawaii's Straub Burn Unit.
